The day after.

after not being able to sleep until 3 I awoke a bit late, but that wasn't a problem really, most of the class was talking. After class I hopped down to the prayer table and got some good insight from a friend of mine. Now I am just sitting here with the kids for nap time so I thought I would post. Right now little is going on in my life, and with limited internet I haven't found out anything much to link to or anything so I'm more posting to keep/make the habit.

metal dreams

So I am head off to a metal show, and while going to make this post I learn that I had started a post last night(which I thought I had finished and posted) however the title and three words of content were sitting there... unposted, so it would seem that I dreamed writing a whole post... go figure...

Well as stated I am heading to a metal show about 40 minutes away -- 50 thanks to road work-- but the people I am with are awesome people so it should be pretty cool.

Trainings

Man... I haven't a problem working with kids, but the trainings I have to take all the time are tiring, boring, and general, my personality doesn't match the other peoples at all. Inculding the speakers, although the larger ones I don't feel bad about not standing up and such since although the same number or more of people may see me, i'm less likely to make friends or be seen by the speaker, so i'm really not losing anything there.

So last night I watched Back To The Future 3 and so many things stuck out as far errors and redundancies. Although an awesome one was the time traveling train at the end. Somehow he makes a time machine with tech from(I beleive) 50+ year before his time, takes it to the future so it can fly, and yet still comes in on the tracks, and why pray-tell do the crossing arms come down?!

Meh, also I've been going on ebay to try and get prices for things I want to sell(as well as buy). I'm finding someting with really nutty prices for some things. Such with Xray machines avg. price for a normal single still spot picture X-ray machine is about ~400-500 USD, a pararamic one for ~800 USD. Scalpes are under 30 US cents each... although seats are over 2000 USD... I mean really, why is a damn chair 4 times the price of the equipment...

Anyway, break is ending so I will post later.

Back in action!

OK, new (droid powered) phone, no longer must I worry about slow loading moblie web and anysuch no-sence, I just type away and hit send. Although I may not post links as much, post should be flowing MUCH better now. So where to start?

With a few friends I tried my hand at D&D and quite enjoyed my self, i'm going to try being the DM for one and see how it goes, schooling is getting back on track from a bit of a bumpy ride term before last, and i'm going to clean out my room some by selling some of my stuff on Ebay. Heres hoping things go well! Now given how i'm just getting over a cold, i'm going back to sleep!

Skin. It's a medium, and slowly it's more.

Turning it colors (1), growing it anew (1), running data through (1,2,3), or just replacing it all together (1,2). At one point all you could do is get tattoos and piercings, if that. If some of these things had been around 30 or 40 years ago, I would most likely be the same person I am (on a DNA level mind you). Just some thoughts as to how replaceable the human body is becoming, the largest organ of the human body, the one few people pay much heed to, despite how much we need and use it, mostly with out knowing it. I know I have done alot to my skin, a good share that I am not really proud of.

Again, just something to think about.

The weekend

So over the weekend I had a retreat and found, I seem to be fairly safe with starting up a grinding/tattoo/piercing place or what ever, just have to get a job and save the money first, I was born in Christ and gain a year old big sister (Yay!) and meet a few new friends. I want to clear my head a bit, so I will type more later I guess. Bye!

Cell phone problems

So, my phone broke. It would not receive calls, and some out going calls would connect, but not send data or receive it.... My phone would log me off anything and everything I was logged into, and not let me log back in for at least 12 hours... So I did the logical thing and called AT&T, they sent me a phone and I moved my data and such, and found that the phone sent to me, was also, not working right. So I make another call, and they tell me to send back the one I had just gotten and that they would sent another with free two day shipping(which came the next day instead), however, it has THE SAME PROBLEM. It's just the side volume buttons, so I won't worry about it this time, I will not be home for the weekend. I will be on a retreat, called Winterfest(2010).

A few of the people I had hoped would be going will not, but I guess that means I will just get to know the other people first, so I am not concerned about it. Hopefully the retreat goes well and I learn a good deal about my faith and maybe where I go with it a bit better.

Well, claass is starting, so I will type more later.

Old school gamer ranting, pay no heed

***** combines the fun of an action-packed RPG game with the strategies and development of a MMORPG.

When I started playing video games, the key to a good RPG was THE STORY, most if not all were turn based, thus had little to no action at ALL, and a MMORPG was a MMO (which normally had only the faintest story e.g. fight everyone else/ the NPC monsters to rule the world. Also you could form teams to make it easier) with a better story then most, or just had a leveling system that was very much like that in the MMO.

So tell me please, when did the lines get SO BLURRY, that the game MAKERS forgot which is which? Might as well just say it's a video game at the rate people seem to be going. Another thing that has gotten on my nerves, as well as friends is when we go to rent a game and on the box it says it's co-op. We go in and find NO CO-OP WHAT-SO-EVER, or just the training missions in co-op. That is a SAD thing to do to people...

another day with my phone, a cute girl, and ice cream!

So today went well enough, talked to a pretty girl and met up with a few friends and found some really cheap Internet, maybe I will finally have a always on Internet and I can start downloading comics and such again, I would like to know what happens in a hand full a comics (like Doktor Sleepless, where I learned about grinding). For those who mostly are not aware of this yet, I download things at a truly insane rate compared to most, I fill my terabyte hard drive drive in under a month, four times over, I burn most the data onto DVD's. Sadly some has been lost to time, things happen...
Also I found an OS call "Damn Small Linux" and I am very much wondering how well it works, being able to boot from a mini-CD or be loaded onto the computers RAM and having as much as was listed on the page (which I will post a link to when I am not on my mobile phone), now just get my replacement smart phone and find some programing app and QR code reader, and I will be just about happy.

By the way my phone has been glitching in a way I don,t get all my text messages, and I can not receive any phone calls at all! Although, the day just got better, my mother came home with a 5 gallon tub of ice cream!

I am going to cut it here today, and go have some! Bye!

Shocks, and limits

Long day today, had church in the morning and worked with the sunday school there before going to my grandfathers house in order to work on the wiring in their 40 year home, in which I forgot to turn off all the breakers I needed to. I have been shocked before but it feels different pending on the path traversed. Who knew?

Then after going to my home I boiled some eggs, and played a round of Magic: the Gathering with my landfall deck and my red black deck, which needs to have a few kinks worked out, oh well.

I am on my phone right now and it says I am running short of letters aloud on a given post, might be able to fit another paragragh if I am careful however.

--Never mind misread it...-- however I am running out of things to talk about so I will cut this one at 829 letters.

Wierd

I was unable to load my blog just a second ago, but I have finally gotten on now, so it seems whatever the problem was, it has been fixed. The training went fine for those who care.

I will most likely post on this weekly, for otherwise, I fear I would have little to say after a short time, I will however post more often if I find enough items to talk about dealing with my topics of concern.

As the training slowly went on, my mind wondered away from me and I started thinking of what I could do with the body, however to add something to it, one must remove, move, or enlarge the body in order to hold anything. I though of the abdomen, being mostly soft tissue some of it could be removed to fit some wide items. --A circuit board perhaps?-- Needless to say, there are many risks with having electricity so close to so many vital organs. So where else might I put something? I need to take a closer look yet, but what about just inferior to the pelvis bone, someone may be able to fit something roughly the size of a hard drive or small fire arm with out using to much space and be able to keep mobility pretty high. The last spot I though of is in the forearms and lower legs, there are two bones going the length of the arm/leg what could we fit in those areas?

Something else I thought about later in the day were HUD's (heads up display) we currently have the technology for putting screens on contact lens2, and although it is a very low pixel count, it does not need to be to get information to us, we could have it be similar to the health bar of old, just a simple line that just small as we were hit by octorks, only in place of octorks, have it monitor blood sugar levels, or alcohol levels, and/or more.

The technology is out there, for many more uses then people might be aware of, and blogspot seems to to crabby about how much I have on a given post, so I will cut it short today. enjoy the rest of the week end!

Today's training

So I was yanked away from my RPG game to go for a training for my current job --my mothers' daycare-- Saturdays are so slow... Oh well. I will most likely see you after the training, and maybe pass on some knowledge I will have learned.

Starting out, and my reasons

So, Facebooks' ever changing format, with out fixing any the bug I always seemed to run into rather anyone else did or not, drove me to seek a new medium in which I may speak to the world and have it speak back to me. That being said, I guess I should say something about myself and what we are likely to read here.

I will start by stating the obvious to those who already know me, I am a nerd, I play magic the gathering, I own half a dozen video game systems, I use two laptops(mine broke so I am using my grand fathers' since he does not, and the second is my mothers' since she just a better one shortly after) and I own a hand full of desktops and about three monitors for each, needless to say, I like my hardware, and I have wanted to build a robot since I was six, which I did end up doing when I was ten, but I still wish to build a better one.

I was raised in Joliet all my life, by my grandparents for the most part. My mother worked a lot, my grand mother was(and still is a librarian) and my grand father has been many things over his many years, from welder to designer (tug boats) to safety inspector and many others, he is a student at the moment. I pick up most my traits from them, I am slightly OCD however it is fairly random as to when it will kick in. I love working with my hands and along with wanting to build my own robot, I have since added to the list of things I wish to build: a car, a house, computer(starting just with a black circuit board mind you), and I wish to build these in full before I die.

My room is a wealth of information in all forms, I have more books then I know what to do with, DVD's and CD's come out every crack of my room, and even items older then I am, a good 20 pounds (9 kg) of it, and if the information I am looking for is not here, I am well versed in how to use the Internet to find what I am looking for. I will use US standard but I will put metric as well, since I feel I am better with it.

I am an American, however I use that term loosely, as it is where I was born, I view the world as a single unit, which it is, just many others look at things on a diffrent scale then I do, I try to look at as much as I can at once, big and/or small.

I am going to school for Orthotics and Prosthetics, and I may later seek out a degree in optogenetics as it pretty well fuses a good share of my favorite things into one field. One item I have just learned about not to long ago that also fits well with my Ideas, hobbies, and such is Grinding(http://grinding.be/). I am also working on my relation with God, so it will be intesting to see how all these things go together

Now, my post in the future will not be so long winded, so please check back, and I will be playing with settings to save what happens
